Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.

Required: 4+ years in QA, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium; familiarity with Electron/React Native apps and AI-assisted QA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Strong debugging and bug-reproduction skills
• Ability to plan and execute test strategies for desktop and mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop/mobile test automation for critical user flows
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites
