Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Tracking Specialist (GTM) to own tag management, conversion tracking, and data integrity across a multi-client education-focused portfolio. The role reports to the Data & Analytics Manager and supports privacy-compliant measurement workflows in a remote, async team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on tracking or web analytics experience in a marketing or agency environment.
• Intermediate experience with GTM containers, trigger and variable creation, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
• Experience planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Hands-on GA4 experience, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
• Comfort with HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript for tag troubleshooting and custom script implementation.
• Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and consent management platforms.
• Analytical, solution-driven mindset with the ability to explain tracking concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own tag management & deployment— maintain pixels, tags, and scripts in GTM for multi-client environments.
• Own conversion tracking & platform integration— connect site activity to ad platforms and configure events.
• Own QA, debugging & data integrity— audit tags and data discrepancies before campaigns go live.
• Own data privacy compliance— manage cookie banners and consent modes per regulations.
• Support documentation & cross-team enablement— document tagging plans and translate requirements into solutions.
