Job summary

Sweat Pants Agency is seeking a remote Google Ads Media Buyer / Growth Strategist to own the entire funnel for a set of DTC accounts. You will act as the client’s direct contact, lead strategy, and be responsible for campaign architecture, attribution, and optimization across Search, Shopping, PMax, and YouTube.

You will audit accounts, defend your decisions in client calls, and build required assets to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Google Ads with meaningful spend on DTC and ecommerce.
• Fluent in the full stack: Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, GTM.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for landing pages and assets.
• Excellent English, client-facing communication.
• Willingness to work US Eastern business hours.
• Bonus: built/operated a Shopify store or ran Meta at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of DTC accounts as strategist, buyer, and client contact.
• Audit campaigns: structure, keywords vs search terms, negatives, bidding, impression share, feed health, landing pages, tracking.
• Present results, plan, and reasoning; defend decisions to clients.
• Manage brand and non-brand as separate businesses; report them distinctly.
• Understand PMax behavior and set appropriate targets across campaigns.
• Keep Google automation in check by auditing auto recommendations and assets.
• Own feed and tracking (GA4, GTM, Shopify goals); ensure reconciliation.
• Build required assets, landing pages, and scripts to remove constraints.
