Job summary

Evotym is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to own complex payment issues from first report to root cause. You will collaborate with developers during incidents and help shape the support function as the business grows.

Responsibilities include handling B2B merchant inquiries, analyzing failures with logs and APIs, and driving corrective actions beyond standard troubleshooting. This is a hands-on, remote role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in B2B technical support or related roles.
• Hands-on payments experience at gateway, bank or orchestration platform.
• Experience reading JSON, API calls via Postman, and logging with Kibana/Datadog.
• Know-how of 3D-Secure 2.0 and payment flows (Auth, Capture, Sale, Refund, Chargeback).
• English language at B2 level; Russian language fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical support requests from B2B merchants and payment providers to resolution.
• Investigate root causes of complex payment issues and drive corrective actions.
• Analyse transaction failures using IDs, logs and API responses including 3DS timeouts.
• Coordinate incident response with development team from alert to resolution.
• Manage daily refund requests and related dispute cases to closure.
• Build and maintain internal Knowledge Base articles from investigations.
