Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a global, multilingual team. You will troubleshoot escalated issues, read code, and analyze logs across web, mobile, and backend systems while collaborating with Engineering to deliver exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in L1/L2/L3 support, strong English (C1), SQL, and hands-on PHP/JS/TS with AWS or similar cloud experience. USD compensation and remote EU work options available.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL databases and data troubleshooting in production environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and code-reading skills in a customer-facing role.
• Familiarity with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong documentation and analytical thinking to identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve escalated issues from L1/L2/L3 support with backend, databases, and integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web/admin consoles, mobile apps, and APIs.
• Analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes including config changes and patches.
• Escalate complex issues with clear docs to Engineering.
• Track incidents and outages until resolution using monitoring tools.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
• Maintain understanding of client solutions to meet KPIs.
