Job summary

Swell seeks a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to join a founder-led brand from Austin, TX, or work remotely with 9-5 CT overlap. You’ll build and run growth channels, leverage Claude Code to connect systems, and collaborate with founders on strategy and execution. This role blends AI tooling, data-driven outreach, and cross-team coordination.

You’ll own email/SMS retention, referral programs, and search/content, while shaping a scalable outreach and field-support operation with direct impact.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Claude Code or similar AI coding tool that is actively used
• Minimum 3+ years in marketing; role can start in coordinator position
• Experience running cold email outreach yourself with tools like Apollo
• Comfort with spreadsheets and data; SQL is a plus; can learn with help
• Some scripting in Python or JavaScript, or experience guiding AI to write it
• Familiarity connecting tools via APIs
• Strong marketing eye and clear, concise writing

Responsibilities

• Build and run outreach to retailers and partners: identify contacts, craft emails, track results
• Support the field team with target lists, routes, and follow-up emails after visits
• Own email and SMS, retention, referral programs, and search/content
• Create marketing visuals with AI tools, matching brand look and feel
• Automate recurring manual tasks to save time across teams
• Track results from order/subscription data and flag anomalies
