Job summary

Our client in Austin, TX, is building a hands-on marketing generalist role focused on wiring every channel for growth in a regulated DTC environment. You’ll work directly with the two founders, use Claude Code to automate tasks, and run campaigns across email, SMS, retention, and partnerships.

You’ll own outreach, data-driven experimentation, and AI-assisted content creation, with ownership and visibility across the team. Remote with CT overlap, compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Claude Code (or a similar AI coding tool) to build something real that's still in use today.
• 3+ years in marketing.
• Experience running cold email outreach yourself, using a tool like Apollo plus an email sequencing tool.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and data; SQL is a plus, and getting there with help is fine.
• Some scripting in Python or JavaScript, or experience directing AI to write it for you.
• Familiarity with connecting tools through APIs.
• A good marketing eye and clear, simple writing.

Responsibilities

• Build and run outreach to retailers and partners: finding the right contacts, writing the emails, and tracking what works
• Support the field team with target lists, routes, one-pagers, and follow-up emails after visits
• Own email and SMS, subscription retention (win-back and pause offers), referral programs, and search/content
• Create marketing visuals with AI tools, using the brand's existing look and feel
• Automate recurring manual tasks so nobody has to do them by hand
• Track results from the company's own order and subscription data, and flag anything that looks off
