AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and web apps. You’ll build robust regression suites, run diverse tests, and document outcomes to improve software quality across SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software QA role, hands-on automation experience.
• Proficient in automated testing and test design.
• Gherkin experience for behavior-driven development.
• Strong written and verbal communication; quality-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA skills focused on quality.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually validate software against defined criteria.
• Run smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Document feature behavior with detail.
• Log pass/fail criteria and map to bugs.
• Identify risks to quality and elevate them.
• Collaborate with product for quality across SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams on feedback.
• Participate in estimation and planning efforts.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repos and scripts.
• Take part in On-Call rotations.
