Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with 4+ years of QA automation to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression tests, run CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability and quality.

Experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Appium, and AI-assisted QA tools is a plus; remote work is supported with global teams and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
