Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing skills for desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain regression tests, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high quality across features.

You will investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria. Remote-friendly role with global teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mindset focused on holistic quality.
Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fail conditions and correlate failures to bugs.
Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
