AgileEngine is seeking a Software QA Engineer with 3+ years in QA and automation, proficient with Gherkin for BDD. The role emphasizes holistic quality, strong communication, and collaboration across teams. Flexible remote/office options and USD-based compensation are offered.

You will build regression tests, run manual validation, and contribute to testing strategy across the SDLC to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions and map to bugs.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC.
