AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing across desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain regression automation, run diverse testing types, and document outcomes for clear bug tracing.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, hands-on automation experience with Playwright or similar tools, and strong communication. The role offers flextime with remote/office options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in QA role
• 3+ years in automated testing
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering
• Ability to write automation scripts and test documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests
• Document feature behavior in detail
• Record pass/fail criteria and map to bugs
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC
• Work with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback
• Maintain automation repos in GitHub
