Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our fintech applications. You will build and maintain robust test automation, ensuring fast, reliable validation of features in a globally distributed team.

The role requires hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and testing Electron/React Native apps, plus using AI tools in QA. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to raise quality and automate critical workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
