Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and collaborate with developers on testability and acceptance criteria. Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO/Appium, and AI tools in QA preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Proficiency with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO for mobile.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
