Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own both automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and report defects clearly.

Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential to ensure testability and acceptance criteria. Candidates should have 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium, and familiarity with Electron/React Native apps on

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
