Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and help ensure quality across features.

Collaboration with developers and product teams will shape testability and acceptance criteria, with hands-on testing and risk-based coverage driving the approach. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright and

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation testing.
Hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
