Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile testing across AI-powered features. You will own automation frameworks, collaborate with developers, and contribute to rapid, reliable releases.

You will implement Playwright and WebdriverIO tests, validate on real iOS/Android devices, and help optimize test coverage with AI-assisted tools. This is a remote, international opportunity with global teams.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
