Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across its fintech applications. Build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure fast, reliable releases.

The role requires 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on manual and exploratory testing, and proficiency with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium. Experience with Electron/React Native apps on real devices and using AI QA tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable tests.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report bugs clearly and verify fixes with developers and product teams.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Determine manual vs automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
