Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own the automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure high-quality releases across global platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on manual testing, and experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile. This remote role offers international collaboration and AI-enabled QA tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation.
• 3+ years in automated testing?
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience with Gherkin (BDD).
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute various testing types (smoke, regression, integration, performance).
• Document feature behavior with detail.
• Log pass/fail criteria and link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product teams across SDLC and releases.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Support test planning through effort refinement and estimation.
• Maintain automation repos in GitHub; run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
