Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain test automation and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable coverage across platforms.

We value hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium, plus testing Electron/React Native apps on real devices. AI tools in QA are considered a plus and collaboration with developers is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their output.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
