Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own automated desktop and mobile testing, while handling manual and exploratory testing. You will build reliable test suites, integrate them into CI/CD and collaborate with developers to improve testability.

This remote role emphasizes rigorous QA for cutting-edge fintech products, using Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron, and React Native. Experience with AI tools in QA is a plus as we push for fast, scalable quality across platforms.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
