Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to design and own automated and manual tests for desktop and mobile apps. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, fix flaky tests, and ensure robust test coverage across platforms.

Applicants should have 4+ years in QA automation, strong Playwright and WebdriverIO skills, and experience with Electron/React Native apps on real devices, plus exposure to AI tools in QA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with desktop and mobile test automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
