Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile applications. You will design, implement, and maintain regression suites while also performing manual testing to validate features.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure quality across releases. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on manual testing, and proficiency with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regression automation for core features.
• Perform manual testing and exploratory testing as needed.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Document test results and map failures to bugs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve quality.
• Participate in CI/CD and on-call rotation.
