Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation for our fintech products. You will build regression tests, run manual and exploratory testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, collaborating with developers to improve testability.

You should have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing across desktop and mobile apps (Electron/React Native), experience with Playwright and WebDriverIO, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation.
Hands-on and exploratory testing experience.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebDriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts for core user flows.
Perform manual validation and exploratory testing based on criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests as needed.
Document feature behavior with clear pass/fail criteria.
Identify risks to product quality and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with product and development teams to improve quality throughout SDLC.
