Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team supporting LATAM and other international regions. The role focuses on licensing, entitlements, renewals and compliance across a multi-vendor software portfolio.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams globally. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Knowledge of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and adapt quickly between publishers and requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting licensing information.
• Fluency in Advanced English and Spanish for regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset records including purchasing and licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and cost optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Balance competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
