Job summary

WSP seeks a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team, supporting a large software portfolio across LATAM and international regions. You will work with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to ensure licensing accuracy, compliance and optimization, reporting to the SAM Hub Leader.

Strong licensing expertise and bilingual communication are essential. Hybrid collaboration across offices and vendors, with a focus on timely service delivery and continuous process

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing and IT Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requests, and adapt quickly between publishers.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency for regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
