Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team, handling licensing across LATAM and international regions. You will work with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure accurate licensing decisions and cost optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders. A fast-paced, high-volume environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience in licensing or ITAM with SAM responsibilities.
• Understand licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize urgent requests, adapt between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing detail.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency to collaborate regionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors.
• Balance priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
