Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps and conduct manual testing as needed. You will build and maintain test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and work with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and testing Electron/React Native apps across iOS and Android, plus familiarity with AI tools in QA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on iOS/Android devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
