Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain automated test suites, integrate them into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers to ensure testability and acceptance criteria.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO; experience with React Native and Electron apps is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable tests.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data and environments.
• Report bugs clearly and verify fixes with developers and product teams.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
