Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, diagnose failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities include hands-on functional, exploratory and regression testing, with a blend of automated coverage guided by risk, and experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software QA/automation.
• Strong automation testing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose, fix flaky tests and manage test data.
• Report bugs clearly with reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with product and dev teams on acceptance criteria.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing as needed.
• Balance manual and automated coverage based on risk.
