AgileEngine is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data pipeline and analytical architecture for a large-volume marketing analytics platform. You will shape partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing on an S3-backed data lake, design ETL pipelines, and define Airflow DAGs while guiding a team of senior developers.

Experience with AWS data services (S3, Athena, EKS) and strong Python back-end skills (FastAPI/Flask) are essential.

Formación

• 7+ years engineering experience with ETL pipelines and large data systems.
• Hands-on OLAP analytics, with one of Athena/Trino/Presto/BigQuery/Snowflake/Spark SQL.
• Data lake on object storage, partitioning, Parquet/ORC formats and cost/perf tradeoffs.
• Deep DAG-style workflow design; Airflow or equivalent orchestration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and validation at scale.
• Architect partitioning, file formats, and near-real-time processing for OLAP workloads on a data lake.
• Own DAG-based batch workflows on Airflow, define structure, dependencies, and triggers.
• Drive AWS data stack (S3, Athena, EKS) and collaborate with DevOps on infra requirements.
• Review PRs and enforce code quality; mentor senior developers and align with engineering practices.
• Guide the team in responsible use of AI tools and maintain long-term maintainability.
