Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing across a large, multi-publisher portfolio in Latin America and beyond. The role involves coordinating renewals, optimising cost, and ensuring compliance with enterprise licensing terms.

You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams, handling high-volume requests and driving improvements to SAM processes in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing in a multi-vendor environment.
• Knowledge of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Ability to manage large software portfolios across publishers.
• Familiarity with entitlements, renewals, compliance and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish; collaboration with regional/global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
