Bayer is seeking the Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for accelerating research across the early breeding pipeline, delivering faster, higher-quality product delivery for growers worldwide.

You will lead enabling-technology, foster cross-functional partnerships, and ensure the adoption of innovative practices across crops and regions, with a focus on HS&E, DEI, and compliant leadership.

Formación

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative/Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics and IT, genomics, or quantitative genetics with a track record of applying to pipelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate across regions and functions to solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration across the early breeding pipeline.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence to enable rapid iteration.
• Lead enabling-technology agenda in accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and analytics.
• Drive adoption of new practices across crops and regions at scale.
• Define metrics for acceleration value and report on cycle time and genetic gain.
