Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the multi-year plan for accelerating breeding research, spanning genomics, phenotyping, analytics, and automation. You will influence strategy across regions and collaborate with universities to recruit future talent.

Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you will own metrics on cycle time and genetic gain, guiding investment and strategy within Crop Science global operations.

Formación

• PhD or MS in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong collaboration across regions and functions to solve complex problems.

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline.
• Establish standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, predictive analytics, automation, and digital workflows.
• Lead adoption strategies and change management across crops and regions.
• Own the impact narrative with metrics on cycle time, genetic gain, cost, quality, and adoption.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to the Capability Center.
• Contribute to Global Breeding strategies and the Long-Range Plan.
• Engage with universities to recruit talent.
• Serve on L3 leadership units to connect research acceleration with downstream decisions.
• Ensure HS&E, Compliance, DEI, and Human Rights culture.
