Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, managing licensing across Latin America and other regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and publishers to ensure licensing accuracy, compliance, and cost optimization in a high-volume, multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requests and adapt between publishers.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting; identify opportunities to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
