Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the global SAM team, covering Latin America and other regions. You will manage licensing decisions, ensure compliance, and optimize software usage across a diverse portfolio.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models, and the ability to collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience in Software Asset Management or ITAM with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing data.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Eng. teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
