Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional LAC SAM team. The role handles licensing across a large, multi-publisher portfolio, ensuring accurate entitlements and compliant usage for LATAM and international regions.

You'll work with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and external publishers to optimize software usage, manage renewals, and support audits in a fast-paced environment with Spanish and English communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM, software licensing, or ITAM experience with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers and licenses.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization, or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize urgent requests across publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate asset and entitlement records with purchasing data.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Eng and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
