Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee client portfolios and lead full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close. You will work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to ensure accurate reporting and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience is required for this role.
• Experience with SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 clients is a plus.
• Proficient English; 100% in English for this role.
• Overlap with Eastern Time is preferred (9am–6pm ET).
• CPA designation or active pursuit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts with timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead and oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
• Review work to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams.
• Manage deadlines and proactively communicate needs.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, and tax-related work.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls.
• Coach junior accounting team members.
• Address complex accounting issues and determine best approaches.
• Support advisory and finance projects as they arise.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted contact.
