Job summary

Flowserve seeks a Field Service Supervisor to lead the field team, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution of service on pumps and related equipment across industries. The role emphasizes training, performance metrics, and continuous improvement in a globally distributed team.

You will coordinate with Sales and Ops to optimize resource use, manage schedules, and deliver on commitments to customers while maintaining Flowserve's core values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant academic qualifications. Eg College certificate/diploma. Five+ years of experience in mechanical field service required.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in removal, repair, and installation of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Experience in chemical, power, and/or oil and gas industries strongly preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience that demonstrates ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Ability to develop a vision of technical excellence and customer service shared by the team.
• Collaborative style that encourages communication, removes obstacles, and promotes problem solving.
• Able to remain calm under challenges, demands, and deadlines.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time with overnight stays as required.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing development for yourself and team members; ensure trained Field Service Technicians support all equipment and create training plans.
• Recruit and retain a global, diverse workforce and establish succession plans for critical roles.
• Maintain a safe, SHEA-focused culture and ensure hazard awareness is shared with Onsite Services SHEA Manager.
• Supervise Field Service Technicians, review Field Service Reports, and identify pump/seal upgrade opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales/Commercial Ops to update opportunities and ensure team availability for installed base.
• Oversee AMP scheduling actions and verify quotations align with customer expectations.
• Ensure Field Service procedures, forms and systems are followed; train technicians accordingly.
• Support tool calibration programs and capital planning for new tools.
• Meet with Sales to discuss key accounts and demonstrate capabilities to reduce costs and improve asset performance.
• Drive close-out cycle time, ensure invoicing and receivables are managed timely.
• Collaborate with FST Coordinator on financial/ utilization forecasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
