Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to identify and upgrade server components, validate cabling and connectivity, and mentor junior technicians within a global team. The role emphasizes problem solving, safety, and change-control processes across multiple data center environments.

• Experience in data center operations and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to mentor and train less experienced technicians.
• Familiarity with SOPs and MOPs for change control and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify opportunities for colleagues to work with servers and main hardware to ensure lifecycle efficiency; coach on power distribution units and replacement hardware without disrupting critical infrastructure.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: guide on implementing defined network communications; validate cabling and connectivity and sign-off on configurations.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: monitor ticketing queues, mentor peers, implement solutions within SLAs, identify trends, and document resolutions.
• Safety and Compliance: ensure adherence to SOPs/MOPs, follow site rules, enforce security procedures, and maintain health and safety guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: train on repair techniques, escalate repeating issues, and engage global teams on local problems.
• Collaboration, Vendor Relations, and Leadership: coordinate with partners to test installations and ensure SLAs are met; lead quality assurance efforts.
