Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Coordinator for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and drive growth through strong customer engagement and technical expertise.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality, while building relationships with operators and contractors to maximize value and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation, drilling KPIs, and performance drivers.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or other shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering and procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex) and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to show service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
