Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Coordinator for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will lead the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver value to operators and drilling contractors.

The role requires extensive experience in directional drilling and related technologies, with a proven ability to drive technical sales and translate complex data into compelling commercial proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPI understanding.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post‑well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long‑term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards across all commercial activities.
