Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services to drive growth in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will lead the full sales cycle, engage operators, and translate technical value into commercial outcomes.
The role requires strong field and commercial acumen, with a track record in drilling services and cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, and product lines.
Competenze
- Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
- Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
- Experience with operators in shale basins and technical sales cycles.
Mansioni
- Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
- Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex) and drilling contractors.
- Delivering technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
- Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and satisfaction.
- Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
- Supporting tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
- Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
- Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
