Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin, Argentina. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality service and customer value.

The role requires deep technical and commercial acumen, strong communication skills, and a track record of influencing engineering and procurement stakeholders in shale environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation, drilling KPIs, and performance drivers.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across products and services.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
