Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services to drive the commercial strategy in the Vaca Muerta basin and to manage the full sales cycle with a focus on customer engagement and technical value.

The role requires strong collaboration with operations, engineering, and product lines, and the ability to identify cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS while ensuring service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and KPI knowledge.
• Experience with operators in shale basins, preferably Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical value to commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines for service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines and CRM customer intelligence; ensure HSE compliance.
