Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services to drive growth in the Vaca Muerta basin. The role covers the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, with emphasis on technical value and client relationships.

You will engage operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex, delivering presentations, post‑well analyses, and cross‑sell opportunities. Flexible office presence is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or similar shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical info to commercial value.

Responsabilités

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex, and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post‑well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identifying cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions and contract renewals to secure long‑term business.
• Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and CRM data.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
