AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead AWS/EKS operations, Argo Workflows, and data pipelines, guiding architects and engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and observable systems.

You will mentor engineers, manage cross-functional incidents, and align platform practices with CI/CD, security, and governance requirements across LatAm service hours.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS production environments, including cloud architecture, security, networking, access management, monitoring and operations.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including workload deployment, troubleshooting, observability, and scaling.
• Hands-on experience operating Argo Workflows or similar orchestration platforms supporting production data workloads.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, plus CI/CD, release automation and rollback practices.
• Experience designing and operating observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-routing for distributed production platforms.
• Proven ability to lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting across infra, data pipelines, and analytics layers.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and ability to mentor engineers across distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3 and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead the transition into managed services, including discovery, risk mapping, knowledge transfer, and readiness validation.
• Establish and evolve cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, observability, and platform engineering priorities.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, EKS operations, deployment automation, secrets management, capacity and reliability.
• Translate business and security needs into actionable requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data lake operations.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation across infra, ingestion, orchestration, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Drive incident response, RCA, post-incident reviews, and preventive actions.
