Job summary

AgileEngine seeks a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role requires strong leadership across AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, and data pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, drive platform engineering practices, and coordinate cross‑functional incident response while align­ing with security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Deep hands-on AWS production environments experience including architecture, security, and monitoring.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including troubleshooting and scaling.
• Hands-on experience with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration for production data workloads.
• Strong Infra as Code experience, preferably Terraform, and release automation practices.
• Experience designing observability, logging, alerting, and incident‑routing for distributed platforms.
• Ability to lead major incidents and cross‑functional troubleshooting across infra, data pipelines and analytics.
• Experience operating production platforms with SLAs, runbooks, and on‑call processes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, and data pipelines with Fivetran/HVR.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and end‑to‑end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3 and Tableau.
• Lead the transition into managed services including discovery, risk mapping, and knowledge transfer.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, observability, and platform priorities.
• Provide leadership for AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, deployment automation, and access management.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and a continuous‑improvement backlog.
• Guide cross‑platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data pipelines.
