Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. invites a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead incidents, improve observability, and coordinate cross-functional teams in a hybrid remote/office setting. Responsibilities include governing AWS, EKS, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, and Tableau dependencies; driving managed-service transitions; and shaping cloud architecture, CI/CD, and platform engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS, cloud security, networking, and access control.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, EKS, and workload management.
• Experience with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration.
• IaC using Terraform; strong CI/CD and release practices.
• Strong observability, logging, alerting, and incident response.
• Mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead transition to managed services including discovery, risk mapping, and knowledge transfer.
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, and release practices.
• Provide leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes, Argo, deployment automation and access control.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions on Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data pipelines.
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation during incidents.
• Direct incident response, post-incident reviews, and preventive actions.
• Ensure change management with validation, rollback planning, and traceability.
