Talan is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a Product-led engineering team. The role involves Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, handling everything from tooling to system architecture.

The position emphasizes compliance, cost-savings, and observability work, with a focus on building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.

Competenze

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency in MongoDB Atlas.
• Proficiency in Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance systems on a major cloud platform.

Mansioni

• Take on lower-priority engineering work the team lacks bandwidth for, including compliance and engineering maintenance, cost-savings, observability, experiment clean-up, and operational tool development.
